Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics
The goal of the WorkPath Visas EB-3 visa program is to create a path to U.S. citizenship for international heavy duty diesel mechanics and their immediate family members by providing employment as a professional diesel mechanic in the United States.
WorkPath Visas only partners with the country's best transportation carriers – ones with turnover rates below 30%. We believe that low turnover is the best indicator of a GOOD carrier – when employees stay, the company is doing something right. That usually means great pay, top benefits, life balance, and employees being treated well.
When you uproot your whole life, you have to be certain it's worth it. When you choose to work with WorkPath Visas, it will be.
If you are a heavy duty diesel mechanic who would like to live and work permanently in the United States, please view our program details and then click "Apply Now" below if you meet the requirements.
Program Requirements
Experience
We require 5 years of verifiable experience with Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, or Cummins. Proof will be required in the form of a certificate, CV, and by reaching out to past employers.
Citizenship
While most of our mechanics are from South Africa, we are able to work with those from Zimbabwe and other countries. The most important thing is proof of citizenship.
English Language Proficiency
While we do not require a formal test, your English language skills will be assessed for fluency by our team in the United States.
Relocation
You will be matched with a carrier that we deem a fit for your skills and experience. You will be required to relocate to the U.S. for at least three years, but the goal is citizenship.
